2010 Holiday Schedule

The following holidays will be observed by Apple Valley Waste and service will be delayed one day for any pickups scheduled on or after the holiday.

There will be no interruption in service for the following holidays:

Independence Day
Sunday, July 4, 2010

Christmas
Saturday, December 25, 2010

New Years
Saturday, January 1, 2011

yard waste sticker program

Apple Valley Waste provides yard waste pickup as an extra service, yard waste is not included as part of your regular monthly service. Each bag or bundle of yard waste must have an Apple Valley Waste Yard Waste Sticker attached.

$2.00/sticker – stickers come in lots of 5.

Place yard waste at the curb by 5:00 am

Yard waste must be contained in a biodegradable paper bag or tied in bundles not to exceed four (4) feet in length and 35 pounds in weight

Each bag or bundle must have one sticker affixed to it in a location visible from the curb. Items without stickers will not be collected.

Bags, cans and bundles of material cannot exceed 34 gallons in size and 50 pounds in weight.
